Project Management Activities:

· Attend Project kick-off. Gather requirement and finalize platform solution.

· Design product/Infrastructure Architecture

· Middleware products installation and ensure their inter-connectivity is successful.

· Test each of the HA components to ensure all the legs are UP and functioning with same capacity.

· Support Dress Rehearsal on various Application functions

· Close gaps found in stress test and dress rehearsal on the spot and help to make the initiative successful.

· Secure UAT Sign-off and setup PAT/Production Servers accordingly.

· Ensure Monitoring & backup jobs configurations are in place and dry run performed on critical functions.

· Prepare application architecture and detailed configuration layout for new project (Strategic & non-strategic Projects)

· Prepare technical standard document for Operation validation and approval.

· Submit Costing for projects for Senior Management approval.

· Get Stream Design Document approved for Project implementation.

· Get Middleware setup completed with 200% setup for Strategic project based on the user count.

· Avoid all Single Point of Failures from Software Cluster and Hardware resiliency perspective.

· Make sure that all Middleware setup is secured with LDAP over SSL &HA configuration.

· Environment is cloned from existing working environment – this makes sure that all best practiced configurations are in place from day one.

· Encourage troubleshooting in house to resolve technical issues quickly and hence reduce PMRs to IBM.

Project Activities:

· Sort out Oracle DB setup ownership with DBA team and have process set for Oracle DB Creation for Portal metadata & "Cloning".

· Have “Best Practices” documented for Middleware configuration of: HTTP, WAS, Portal, Documentum, WebLogic, WAS CE, etc.

· Best Practices for Platform configuration required for Middleware setup viz. Startup Scripts, Semaphores, Ulimit (# Open Files)

· All setup and configuration documents are managed centrally @ SubVersion.

· Cloning Portal & WAS setup and delivering the environments in a week. Without cloning the same environment would take 8 to 10 weeks.

· Successful COB for each and every application in first attempt was completed with precise COB strategy.

· Formalize Cost saving by re-purposing existing environments for new project.

· Out of way support to Application team to prepare for "Demo" to be presented to Citi Board's visit to Singapore

Technical Activities:

· WebSphere Application & Portal Server installation in cluster environment with DB2

· Installation and Configuration IBM HTTP Server along with Plugin for WAS with SiteMinder for Single Sign On

· Configure WebSphere Application Server to connect to Tibco as WebService, which in turns connected to MQ on Host.

· Configure AES (secured communicator configuration) & Sysplex at the DataSource for DB2 on Z/OS

· Configure PMI parameters for Wily V9 configuration (JVM, DB connection health monitoring, etc.)

· Configure Oracle Weblogic server with iPlanet along with SiteMinder for SSO

· Install & Configure Documentum Content Server over VCS for Cluster for supporting Active-Active HA, first time in APPC.

· Portal Server TAI & Web Server SSO Configuration using CA Netegrity Siteminder

· Complete end to end SSL Configuration on IBM WAS JVM, HTTP & Plugin

· Fixpack & ifix installation to overcome product binary bug and as per VTMs released.

· Support Stress test for Application and infrastructure components in UAT & PAT environments.

· Bash Scripting to automate the log management and triggering alerts.

Project Activities:

· Successfully executed transition of Global Market Equities’ Application (12) into Deployment Management Modules

· Successfully executed application (8) on-boarding into BladeLogic for Automation Deployment

· Have “Best Practices” documented for Deployment & Middleware Implementation of WebLogic, Apache, iPlanet, MQ, Deployments

· Involved into UK Datacenter Migration for around 45 servers where I interacted with Application Owner and Engineering team to Migrate, Deploy data on new servers

· Successfully setup of Financial Supply Chain Management & Trade System Utility applications from Development to Production.

· Worked with various team as part of special projects to remediate vulnerabilities & upgrade products

· Worked with delivery teams to ensure that all solutions could be delivered within the client time line as well as supported after deployment

• Monitoring application’s environment through tools like Tivoli, Geneos, Custom Shell Scripts and AppMgr. Analyze the issue after detailed troubleshooting of the alert and work on permanent fix & the alerts are cleared as per the SLA.
